Baby
Both of Baby's parents lived in the same house, unaltered. And so there was Baby and then seven months later, there was her new brother Mack and a bunch of brothers and sisters. Baby's mom and Dad thought their might be something wrong with her. SCGSR agreed to have her examined by our vet and we found her to be in perfect health, just overweight. We had her hips and one of her elbows x-rayed and she's free of dysplasia. Baby will need some TLC and introductions to the big world, she hasn't gotten out much and she's shy, but very very sweet. She has a beautiful face! Baby is housebroken and gets along well with dogs, cats, and small children. With a little diet and some exercise and walks, Baby will make a wonderful pet!

  • If you would like to meet Baby, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.

  • Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.

  • The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
