Bobby
Bobby is about 10 months old. He's a very big, stunning bi-color (black and tan colors only). Bobby is in the tall and gaggly teenage phase, but we can guarantee that when he's full grown, people will oooh and aaah over him.
Bobby was a bit upset when he first came to us. He had spent his entire life in a yard and garage. When he got attention it was rough play and no training or exercise. All of a sudden at 10 months, the kids in the family became "allergic" to Bobby, so off to the shelter he went.
After a week in foster care, you couldn't ask for a better 10 month old. Bobby's housebroken and plays politely with all the dogs, he's even pals with a 10 week old puppy. Bobby is quiet and becomes attached quickly. He is crate trained, walks well on a leash and seems very trustworthy for such a youngster.
Bobby is a real prize, awaiting a family who will give him a happy and loving forever home.
If you would like to meet Bobby, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.
Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.
The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
