Brinlee
Brinlee came to SCGSR with her litter. She is so sweet she's gone under the radar because we couldn't get a good photo of her! Any family will fall hard for Brinlee, she's friendly with everyone, she gives kisses, and she loves to play with the the kids and dogs in her foster home. Brinlee is housebroken and crate trained, and she walks nicely on leash. She'll will do great in a family with kids of any age, and dogs and probably cats too! After playtime, Brinlee can often be found up on the couch (or tucked in bed by her human foster-sisters) taking her nap. Brinlee would love to be home for Christmas!
Puppies are a 10 to 15 year commitment. Please consider adoption carefully and make sure you're in a position to always have a home for your pet. Puppies require hours of attention and training every day. Their health care can be expensive and you can expect to pay over $1,000 a year to keep your pet fed and healthy.
If you would like to meet Brinlee, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.
Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.
The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
