01.25.11: Doc and Syrus, best of buddies!
Hi Guys,
Dru and I just wanted to give you an update on Doc.
He had his surgery last Friday and is recovering extremely well. Doc and Syrus are getting along famously. So much so they even sleep together.
Our family loves him so much and we are happy to have him as part of our lives!
Having him around baby Levi has been non eventful except for the fact that he thinks he is also a baby and stole his pacifier and was actually sucking on it! It was so hilarious that we tried to get a picture but couldn’t get him to sit still long enough.
Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to bring him into our home. In the future when our lives clam down a little we plan to adopt one more. We love the breed and have another spot in our hearts to fill.

12.19.10: Juno. This year Juno meets Santa Paws . . . people love Juno and Juno loves people of all sizes. Juno attracts attention everywhere she goes, and is so well behaved she made her mommy Linda proud! Santa didn't look too happy however! (Bad Santa!) Thank you Linda for working your magic on Juno and teaching her that people can be kind and loving! Juno started with nothing, had 11 puppies in a shelter, and now has the best home ever!
12.01.10: Lucy, with her new mommy, Katie! Lucy has found a loving
forever home with Frank and Katie.
11.29.10: Caramel, happy at home with Beth and Bob. Caramel
settled right into her forever home like she'd always been there!
10.04.10: Greta (formerly Missy) is absolutely wonderful! She is learning very quickly, and she and Reina
love each other! She really hasn't had too much trouble adjusting at all, and she continues to get more and more loving & affectionate every
day. Thank you so much for helping me get her, she has brought so much joy to our lives!! Oh, and I just want to tell you, every time she goes
anywhere with me, strangers constantly tell me how beautiful she is (which makes me feel smug towards all of those people who didn't want
her!)

09.29.10: Hi Marcy! We just wanted to let you know that Baylee and Kean are doing great! They both seem to be adjusting to their new "forever home" exceptionally well and we love having them
here. I've included a few pictures that I thought you might enjoy!
09.29.10: Hi! Thought you would like this picture of Lily
(formerly Angel) and Dino taken on the 4th of July at
Dino’s mother’s house. She has two white leather sofas and she has no problem with all the dogs sitting on
them! Lily is definitely “daddy’s girl.†She is now 89 lbs and we’re trying to
keep her steady there.
09.27.10: Just want to give you an update on Eli and let you know that he's doing great. He's been to the beach, lots
of walks, lots of car rides and doggie day care to play with other dogs (Ralph heard one of the girls say as we were picking him up...."THAT
is one cool dog"). He's a sweet affectionate boy. Best, Lisa Marie and Ralph
09.27.10: Radar is doing great. He gives wet kisses, is a messy drinker, a pig at meal time, and has a foot fetish. He's settling in
and is a nice dog. He's getting used to the cats and has great manners with them (most of the time). They're more comfortable with him and
one will even walk underneath him. He has run-of-the-house while we're home and just graduated to nighttime house freedom while we're
asleep. So far he's slept in the hall with Sadie or on one of the dog beds next to our bed. We had a dog party and he met is new BFF - our best
friend's male yellow lab. They are ridiculous together! They get to play when we have parties, dog sit and go camping, so that's super fun.
He LOVES toys. OMG! Hilarious and noisy! Wishing I was at home instead of at work, Wendy
09.22.10: Little Olive is all grown up. She is doing great, sweet as ever, plays a lot and has
become good friends with Scrappy the cat. Olive and her playmate Heidi try to stay cool inside when it's too hot outside during the day and we
take walks after sunset. Best Wishes, kisses from Olive and Heidi, Alexandra
09.17.10: Serena and her brother Ben, happy at home with Lisa and Andre. Both Serena and Ben were rescued from the San Bernardino Animal Shelter on their last
days. Serena came to us with seven one-day-old babies and was the best mother ever. Thank you Lisa and Andre for giving both SCGSR rescued dogs a
wonderful home.

04.26.10: In loving memory of Gwen (formerly Baby), who was taken
to the Rainbow Bridge too soon. She was turned in to SCGSR as a youngster with her brother Mack by an irresponsible back yard breeder, and given
the most love possible by Angela and family. Gwen would have been three years old today, and her family misses her terribly. See more photos and

04.8.10: Silver, now named Chance, happy at home with his new mom and dad!
04.7.10: Zeus, adopted in 2007, with Daisy.
Matt and I adopted Zeus from your rescue about two years ago. He is
wonderful in every way - goofy, brave and sweet all mixed together. Thanks so much for bringing us together. And also for fighting for these poor
animals in Utah!!

Here is Mikey with his mom Kate. This is right where he spent his recovery at work with his foster mom. This is where he met his forever mom,
and where everyone pitched in to care for him during his illness. As you can see, Mikey made a full recovery!

very happy and well loved fellow with his mom and dad, Jane and James. Neptune was literally about to be put to sleep when an SCGSR volunteer
stepped in to save his life, and we're so happy we did!
11.17.09: Enya, now "Dana!". Enya, now named Dana,
gloriously happy in her new home with Barney, Mike and Gerri! Enya was rescued from the Wasco shelter and found the perfect home within a week!
11.17.09: Cody. Cody was rescued by Pete & Diana, nursed back to
health from a respiratory illness, and is living the high life! His dad takes a lot of the beautiful photos you see on our site! Check out more of his work.
11.17.09: Destiny. Destiny, newly rescued and already loving
life with the Hayes family!
Rachelle & I wanted to thank you all for helping us find our newest Hayes Family member. We have only been together for mere HOURS & Destiny has
done nothing less than have us fall MORE & MORE in LOVE with her. Destiny is NOTHING less than AMAZING! She has taken to her new home, Incl. her
crate like it is where she has ALWAYS belonged. In the last 8 hours or she has covinced us she is either an extraordinarily smart Dog or she has
had past training! (OR BOTH!!!) We both actually think it is BOTH!! We will keep you posted & send updates & pics as often as possible. THANK YOU
ALL so much for what you do for these wonderful animals & for the LUCKY ppeople that get to Adopt them!
