Jack
Jack is an ten month old pure bred bi-color German Shepherd. He was turned in to the shelter at six months for the same old reasons: house too small, not enough time for him, needs training, jumps on people. When Jack first came to SCGSR, he had a bad infection from his neuter we had to treat, then he got kennel cough, and he's been with SCGSR for two months. Long enough for us to fall in love! Jack's little black cloud has blown away and he's healthy and happy and ready for his forever home. Jack is sweet, sensitive and spicy; he's good and bad, but one thing that doesn't falter - Jack is a very nice boy who loves people and other dogs. Jack has a multitude of nicknames in our rescue - one being "Yak" because he can talk up a storm. You're not sure if there's a roaring polar bear in the next room or if Jack is playing with another dog.
We also call him the "Count" because like Dracula, he's always biting his dog buddies on neck. If you don't like dog kisses and cuddling, don't even think of adopting Jack. He'll crawl up into your lap and give you all the kisses you can stand. If you want a rascally, entertaining and loving puppy, Yak ... oops we mean Jack, wants to meet you!
