Lola
Little Lola came to our vet's office a very sick puppy. She needed to be hospitalized, she needed IV fluids and medicine. Her owner wasn't able to pay to treat her, and asked to turn her in to our rescue. We couldn't say no to this sweet, needy little face!

Little Lola bounced back really fast. She loves her food, she loves to play with other dogs and kids, she's very smart and active. If you have an active home and you like to spoil your fur babies, Lola is just the girl for you!

Lola looks like a pure German Shepherd, but she's on the small side. She is adoreable and will probably be a 40-45 pound girl.

  • If you would like to meet Lola, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.

  • Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.

  • The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
