 Maddie
Update 5.21.07 Maddie's growing fur!! We received an urgent plea. Maddie was in a shelter. She had a great personality, but had been horribly neglected and had lost all her fur because of flea allergies, bad diet and no care at all. Her only option was to come to rescue, or she would be put down because of her medical condition.
Even though we didn't have the money to care for Maddie, we couldn't say no. Maddie has been in a very caring foster home for three weeks now. She gets baths every other day, she's on expensive medicines and needs a lot of care. Her foster mom is giving Maddie the best diet possible to help her recover, and its working! Each week we're taking pictures of Maddie, and although you might think she looks awful, she looks a lot better. And best of all, Maddie is a very happy girl. She's always got a toy in her mouth (or what's left of it - her toys don't last long!).
Maddie's going to have a gorgeous sable tiger-stripey coat. We just can't wait to see her once her coat has grown in! Maddie would love a special home where her family can dote on her.
Be sure to watch the video of Maddie playing ball at the shelter!
Maddie is a long term foster, not easy to do in a small rescue. We need help with Maddie's bills. If you can help Maddie on her journey to good health and a happy life, please make a donation today.
If you would like to meet Maddie, please fill out our online application. Once we receive your application, we'll be in touch with you shortly.
