Rayne
SCGSR received a plea to help four German Shepherd puppies who were found soaking wet and filthy dirty abandoned in a rural area during the heavy rain storm. These lucky puppies are now safe and warm and well fed, thanks to a good Samaritan and SCGSR. Rayne looks like a coated Shepherd. He has very long fur and and we think he's going to be huge. Rayne is confident and sweet. He looks like a stuffed animal. But our bet is he won't act like a stuffed animal, he'll act like a German Shepherd!

If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.
Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.
The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
