Handsome six month old Ricky is a dora candyland games black German Shepherd boy, who landed in a very scary shelter with his sister Lucy. A kind-hearted animal control officer brought Lucy & Ricky to SCGSR to save their lives. They are very bonded and we would love to see them go to a home together. Both are sweet, lovable and a bit shy at first. Both love people and other dogs. Can you give them a happy home together?

If you would like to meet Ricky, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.

Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.

The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
