Samantha
Eleven month old Sammie was raised alone in dora candyland games
a backyard kennel. Neighbors rallied to bring this beautiful and well adjusted girl to rescue so she could find a loving home. She's very sweet and friendly to other dogs, she rides well in the car, but she is pining for a forever family who will teach her to sit and walk politely on a leash. Sammie is a typical young German Shepherd and will thrive in a home where she gets a lot of exercise. If you like to run or throw tennis balls, you'll love Samantha. All she needs is a little love and attention and she will return it a million times over!

If you would like to meet Sammie, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.
Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.
The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
