Sierra
Sierra is a large and gorgeous classic German bred girl. We don't often get dogs with as beautiful a demeanor as Sierra. She is happy and sensitive and loves all creatures big and small. We haven't introduced her to cats, but we believe she'd be fine. Sierra is healthy minded but is submissive with other dogs and doesn't fight back. This big girl either doesn't know her own strength or she's just too nice to fight for her rights. These photos don't do her justice, and she very much needs to gain some weight. She is sweet and calm, and she meets new people and dogs without blinking an eye. Sierra met two boisterous puppies and after a sniff, she ignored them. She rode nicely in the car for her very long trip to San Diego, and waited patiently in the car while the two puppies got baths. We've only known Sierra for a short time, but she's the kind of dog we have in mind when we drive long hours to rescue a German Shepherd in need. Some lucky family will adopt a very special girl.
