Cute Sophie and dora candyland games online for
her brother Spike were found deserted on the side of a highway by Animal Control officers. At only six weeks of age, they were very lucky to be found. Too young to be adopted, Spike and Sophie came to SCGSR. They're now 8 weeks old and are ready for adoption. Sophie is spunky and loves to play, but seeing her food bowl coming is what really makes her happy. We think she's going to be a big girl!
Puppies are a 10 to 15 year commitment. Please consider adoption carefully and make sure you're in a position to always have a home for your pet. Puppies require hours of attention and training every day. Their health care can be expensive and you can expect to pay over $1,000 a year to keep your pet fed and healthy.
If you would like to meet Sophie, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.
Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.
The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
