Sunny
SCGSR received a plea to help Sunny find a new home. Her dad's fiance's Cocker Spaniel didn't like Sunny much, and unfortunately Sunny was shown the door. Sunny has been evaluated by our trainer, Mirna Pacheco, and passed with flying colors.
Sunny is a happy, friendly and active girl. She loves camping and swimming. And she comes with a built in baby sitter if needed - her dad! She would love a home where she can get attention and exercise and interaction with her family. We would like to place her in a home with children 10 and up due to her energy level. She gets along well with other dogs, and her dad says she even gets along with cats with guidance. As you can see, Sunny would love to have a pool to swim in and a buddy to play with.
If you would like to meet Sunny, please fill out our online application. This is the starting point in adopting from SCGSR. We strive to keep our website current within 24 hours. If you see a dog on our site, it is most likely available. The more information you give us about your dog experience, your home, your fence, children and other pets, the better we can do to match you with one of our dogs. Keep in mind that we may be working with prior applicants.
Our adoption donations are tax deductible and range from $300 to $500. Dogs will be spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations, and in most instances they will be microchipped. To those big hearted people willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems, we will work with you on adoption donation amounts.
The adoption process involves an application, a telephone interview, a meeting with our dogs and then a home and fence check. In certain cases photos of your house and yard may be substituted for a home check.
